"I had the most amazing time at yesterday’s matinee performance of MAMMA MIA! As a huge fan of ABBA, I had seen the movie and the original Broadway production years ago; still, I couldn’t wait to buy my ticket for this performance as soon as they went on sale in March. The cast was talented and amazing and It was a plus that I didn’t know who any of the actors were, beforehand, thereby eliminating the possibility of being attracted - or distracted - by big names. Some of the more garish, outlandish and over-the-top costumes added to the hilarity that unfolded on stage. I also appreciated that this contemporary version included Asian, Black and Hispanic performers. And, the musical numbers were phenomenal."
