Wow! This show beat all expectations.
"The show was so good. It’s amazing to go to a Broadway show that is basically two actors carrying the whole thing. The male lead did such a great job acting as a robot transforming. Socially awkward robots falling in love? I'm all in!
"This is a very well crafted musical. Unique and charming, The music and lyrics are lovely and get stuck in your head. That's a mark of a good musical.
I thought the set design really helped set the mood of the entire play. There were such whimsy and charm and fluidity to the stagecraft. I couldn't get over the holograms and the memories. It was just so well designed.
Darrin and Helen just completely knocked it out of the park. I've watched Darrin grow up since his starkid days and I couldn't believe the motion he put in to his android character. His nomination is well deserved. And Helen's voice is so clear and natural. What a marvelous talent.
And come on, admit the plant totally stole the show! It got its own bio in the playbill!
I couldn't have been the only person crying at the end. I'm so glad I got to see it live. I hope they record it. I want to keep it forever."
