Contemporary live story
"The acting, singing, and visual effects were very good. However, it wasn’t a musical that wowed with show stopping dancing, elaborate sets, or memorable songs. "

Stunning sets and visual design, but slow pacing
"The leads in the show are on stage for pretty much the entire 100 minutes. That feat of endurance is a marvel for a Broadway performer. The sets and visual effects are stunning and my mind is still processing the technical components at work to make the story come to life. As a longtime theatre goer, I liked the show, but found the pacing slow. Definitely unique and worthy of attendance, but I do not feel the need to go again. "

An innovative show, with great performances
"Great singing and acting performances from Darren and Helen. Darren's jerky head positions and physical stance communicated his persona as a robot very clearly throughout the show. We enjoyed the show very much."

Pleasant
"I liked it and thought it was very original. The music and lyrics sound like they were written by AI -- without flaw but soulless. "

Cute Story
"We enjoyed the story as it was fun and unexpected. After they returned from their trip it felt as if the story was ending. It dragged a bit after that until it was over. "

Disappointed
"I heard so many rave reviews about this show but I found it lacking. It was cute, the stage presentation and effects were very innovative but the show itself was just okay. I’ve left other shows saying WOW, this had no wow factor for me. It was cute, and good, but definitely did not knock my socks off. "

2 robots go into the real world
"The show was much too long and could gave easily ended 30 minutes earlier. Actors were excellent, plot was thin. I would not recommend. "

Sweet but not up to hype
"Lovely storytelling but rather uneventful musical,, mostly singular tone broken by occasional Sinatra like crooning "

Entertaining, but no “wow”.

maybe not so happy
"Technologically sophisticated, musically juvenile, with a thin book from 1940s science fiction. The characters try to be engaging but are too alien, too one-dimensional and awkward to appeal to a sentient adult for more than a few minutes."
