A Futuristic Love Story
"Maybe Happy Ending is a highly original musical. Two strangers, living next door to each other, realize they have nothing in common and perhaps, everything in common. The acting, singing, staging are sublime. The songs may not be memorable in some instances, but are lovely in their own right. The special effects are something to behold, and worth the price of admission.
My only criticism is that this show is 95 minutes without an intermission. People of a certain age (me!) need that break.
To summarize, this is a story of tenderness, kindness, technology, and ultimately a story of love."

The Cutest Show on Broadway
"I have been a fan of this show since it came to Broadway. This show will make you both laugh and cry as you follow Claire and Oliver through their adventures. For being a “shorter” show without an intermission you become so connected with the characters in such a short amount of time. I wish the show was longer just to simply have more time with the characters. I highly suggest anyone looking to see a show while in NYC to get tickets for this show and I would say it’s relatively safe for children. I think a lot of things may go over their heads that would make the show more enjoyable for adults but otherwise I think someone of any age would enjoy the show. Please support the amazing cast and crew of this show!"

Poignant and sweet
"This show was such a nice surprise! I had heard it won the Tony and I was curious to see it after a friend of mine saw it and raved about it. It’s a show that really speaks to what it means to be human, to love, and to live told through two “helperbots”. There were moments where I laughed out loud and moments when I cried. It really was beautifully staged and acted. The two leads were wonderful, especially Zach Piser as Oliver. He was a standout for me! I highly recommend Maybe Happy Ending! 10/10 "

My favorite show of my NYC trip!
"I loved everything about MHE. The staging was so creative. The comedy was perfectly timed and delivered by Darren and Claire. The songs and lyrics were impactful - I've found myself listening to the soundtrack over and over again since returning home. The message of giving into the tides of love, especially with the reveal at the end... it's a human lesson that we can learn from two unconventional characters - two helper robots. "My husband and I chose this show to celebrate living happily ever after for a trip to NYC for our 51st wedding anniversary. I was disappointed when someone told me it was about robots, but when we saw the show we loved it. The music and staging were fantastic. The fireflies were a touch of pure whimsy. The values expressed confirmed my sense that the writers had thought deeply about the pros and cons of how we use technology and the primacy of human relationships, but these "helper bots" could definitely teach us a lot about love and how to make a commitment.
