An innovative show, with great performances
"Great singing and acting performances from Darren and Helen. Darren's jerky head positions and physical stance communicated his persona as a robot very clearly throughout the show. We enjoyed the show very much."

Pleasant
"I liked it and thought it was very original. The music and lyrics sound like they were written by AI -- without flaw but soulless. "

Cute Story
"We enjoyed the story as it was fun and unexpected. After they returned from their trip it felt as if the story was ending. It dragged a bit after that until it was over. "

Disappointed
"I heard so many rave reviews about this show but I found it lacking. It was cute, the stage presentation and effects were very innovative but the show itself was just okay. I’ve left other shows saying WOW, this had no wow factor for me. It was cute, and good, but definitely did not knock my socks off. "

2 robots go into the real world
"The show was much too long and could gave easily ended 30 minutes earlier. Actors were excellent, plot was thin. I would not recommend. "

Sweet but not up to hype
"Lovely storytelling but rather uneventful musical,, mostly singular tone broken by occasional Sinatra like crooning "

Set fantastic. Story sort of ok.
"Rather boring. Cute. For me not comparable with shows like lion king etc. "

No connection
"The staging was interesting, the actors were very talented. The story line was disjointed and we never related to the characters. Reviews were misleading and had we known it was about robots in the future, we would not have booked tickets. It also seemed like the writers were trying too hard to to get too many points across resulting in no depth of characters."

Entertaining, but no “wow”.
"Entertaining, but if you only see a few shows per year, skip this one"

Not my cup of tea
"I’m a seasoned Broadway attendee, and I know my opinion goes against the majority, but I did not find it enjoyable at all. Not enough singing and dancing and way too off beat a storyline for me. "

maybe not so happy
"Technologically sophisticated, musically juvenile, with a thin book from 1940s science fiction. The characters try to be engaging but are too alien, too one-dimensional and awkward to appeal to a sentient adult for more than a few minutes."

Boring!
"Honestly, it was a struggle to stay awake. The play felt flat and slow, with no real energy or momentum. The songs were the worst part—long, dull, and kind of torture to sit through. By the end, I was just relieved it was over."
