Loved it, jinx is a legend
"I had my doubts after reading some less-than-positive reviews, but I left the theatre pleasantly surprised. Jinx and the rest of the cast were outstanding, delivering a visceral performance that stayed true to the genre while sparking plenty of laughter. An engaging, memorable play that I would wholeheartedly recommend"

Worth everything!
"This show was outstanding. It's not about production tricks or big numbers (which I love). It's just outstanding writing and unbelievable talent. Flew into NYC for 24hrs just to catch this show, with Jinx in particular, and it was worth EVERYTHING!"

OMG Brillant play! Funniest night in the theatre that I can remember.
"Jinx Monsoon had me in the palm of her hand from scene one. What comic genius. The plays twists and turns and unexpected surprises kept me on the edge of my seat. I would go see it again in a heart beat. It was an added bonus cast came out afterwards and signed the long line of fan's programs. "

Oh Jinkx! (I mean Oh Mary!)
"I loved how surprised I was at the premise. The unexpected is always a good thing. I loved the scenes with the quick blackouts - brilliant and worked so well. The cast was totally immersed, giving their all, a beautiful example of collaboration. Jinkx Monsoon is so incredibly amazing, talented, kind, generous and beautifully shares the stag with all. "

I was in tears the majority of the show
"The show was beyond hilarious! I found myself brought to tears from laughter all throughout the show. Each member of the cast shined, but especially Jinkx Monsoon who was quite literally born for this role. Beyond the cast, the set design and how the stage is changed throughout was so meticulously planned and executed just as well. The lighting team also deserves many encores of praise. Cole Escola is a genius and we need them to create more hilarious and ground breaking shows. I hope I get the chance to see this show again and again! "

Jinkx is a Star
"I thought the cast was terrific. The chemistry, physicality, and comedic timing was perfect. I’ve been a fan of Jinkx since Drag Race 5 and when I read that she took over the role of Mary Todd, I had to see the show. She did not disappoint, what a talent! The show was creative and hilarious. I laughed out loud! Worth mentioning, if you are easily offended by off color humor, be prepared. Some of the humor is not for the meek, but hilarious nonetheless. Go see the show!!! "

Hilarious, laugh out loud funny!
"Jinkx and Kumail were absolutely incredible! I imagine Cole and Conrad were too. The reason I wouldn’t recommend it for children is not so much inappropriateness and more because it is so clever that even if they know some of the Lincoln history, it might not be as well received. This was a truly a masterpiece and one of very few non-musicals that I would see again."

About Oh, Mary!

Oh, Mary! is a dark comedy about a miserable, suffocated Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. Unrequited yearning, alcoholism, and suppressed desires abound in this 80-minute one-act play that finally examines the forgotten life and dreams of Mrs. Lincoln, through the lens of an idiot (playwright Cole Escola).

Declared “one of the best comedies in years” by The New York Times, Oh, Mary! received Tony Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Play (Cole Escola) and Best Direction of a Play (Sam Pinkleton), Drama League Awards for Outstanding Play and Outstanding Direction of a Play, as well as a special citation from the New York Drama Critics’ Circle. It was named a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
