Hilarious, laugh out loud funny!
"Jinkx and Kumail were absolutely incredible! I imagine Cole and Conrad were too. The reason I wouldn’t recommend it for children is not so much inappropriateness and more because it is so clever that even if they know some of the Lincoln history, it might not be as well received. This was a truly a masterpiece and one of very few non-musicals that I would see again."

“Oh, Mary!”
"It was the most fun I had all summer. The cast is brilliant, the show itself is HILARIOUS, and the PACKED house (for a Thursday matinee) was filled with so much laughter. It was an endorphins boost being there. "

"A brilliantly cast and executed show - this is a must see Broadway show. It's funny, raucous, naughty (very adult oriented) ...my love of ice cream will never be the same again!"

A Fun, Fantastic Frolic!
"Everyone was telling us you have to see Oh, Mary! We planned a quick trip to see the show and we are now part of the Flaming Oh, Mary! Fan Club. Each Actor out performed individually and as an ensemble. I never stopped laughing, the timing was incredible and the plot twists are super FUN! I can't wait to see it again! "

Great Fun!
"Everyone was laughing throughout every scene. All the actors were wonderful and committed to the bits, and the show itself was full of fun, antics, and hilarity. Definitely profane and over the top (in a great way). "

Cole is brilliant!
"This show deserves every positive review that it has and will ever receive! I attended Titus’s final performance, and it was absolutely amazing! The entire cast did a phenomenal job and the writing was perfect! I would love to watch it as the actors cycle through Mary just so I can see how each of them makes it their own. "

What a delight
"I absolutely loved this play. I was laughing the entire time! I was hanging on every word. I appreciated how well they used their time (no intermission). This was my first time in this theatre and sat in the mezzanine. I had a wonderful view of the stage. "

An Absolutely Brilliant Show!
"“Oh, Mary” is riotously funny and I haven’t laughed that hard in ages! Each actor somehow manages to bring out the humanity of completely unhinged characters. The humor is in-your-face bawdy, so more conservative theater goers may think twice. For the rest of us, don’t hesitate! Buy those tickets NOW!"

Best Broadway Show I can remember seeing in years!
"This show was a stunning display of talent, creativity, humor, disrespect mixed with heartbreaking moments of explosive emotion that kept one begging for more. The brilliant mind of Cole Escola had to be full of a cache of thoughts covering universal feelings and possibilities. It was a wonderment of collaboration of these characters at the summit standing Mary. How lucky I was to witness this miracle of a play. "

Tituss Burgess is perfect in this role!
"I wasn’t sure what to expect after Cole Escola left the show, but I was familiar enough with Tituss from the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt to know he’d probably be good in this role. And was he ever! So hilarious, such an amazing singing voice! I’m convinced he would have been nominated (and won) for a Tony had he originated this role. The entire cast was excellent. Just wish it was a bit longer.. but other than that it was great! Highly recommend!"

Bawdy, Profane, and HILARIOUS!
"I missed Cole Escola's Tony winning turn by two days, but Tituss Burgess as Mary Lincoln had me saying, "Cole who?". And Jinkx Monsoon, who is presently stealing scenes in 'PIRATES! The Penzance Musical' will take over the role in August. Funniest single play I've ever seen!"

I was snort-laughing for the full hour and 30 min
"This is without a doubt the funniest show I have ever seen. Titus Burgess was a comedic force. Every line delivery had me in stitches. The entire cast is phenomenal. I wish I had purchased a ticket for the earlier show because the minute it was over I wanted to walk right back into the theater and see it all over again. I would recommend this show to everyone- it is an absolute must see. "

About Oh, Mary!

Oh, Mary! is a dark comedy about a miserable, suffocated Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. Unrequited yearning, alcoholism, and suppressed desires abound in this 80-minute one-act play that finally examines the forgotten life and dreams of Mrs. Lincoln, through the lens of an idiot (playwright Cole Escola).

Declared “one of the best comedies in years” by The New York Times, Oh, Mary! received Tony Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Play (Cole Escola) and Best Direction of a Play (Sam Pinkleton), Drama League Awards for Outstanding Play and Outstanding Direction of a Play, as well as a special citation from the New York Drama Critics’ Circle. It was named a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
