"I did enjoy the show :Six.. However, I was expecting more of a storyline (plot) if you will. There is no king in the show! Theres only the six Wives (women) singing and dancing, which was very nice, a bit comical to. So, if you’re not into just song and dance, then I would not recommend this particular show. "

High energy and great coatumes
"This was a very enjoyable experience. But the voices and music are not great (as stand alone music) and the performances among the current cast for the six wives was uneven. Saw this play a couple of years ago as well and it was better. "

Concert-esque
"I chose this Broadway performance purely for the music. The performers were great, but I didn’t love the actual writing and how the material was presented. It was a decent show, but not one I would see again."

A Fun Show
"Best adjective for Six is fun. It's loud, colorful costumes, great singing, constant action. It's not a classic like Les Miz or Phantom, but the show is entertaining. One thing that can be improved upon is it was hard to understand the words the actresses were singing. So it was difficult to fully comprehend each of the wives stories. It wasn't just me, my husband felt the same way. This show wasn't our first choice, but it was the only show that we could get tickets last minute. I am glad that I saw it, though."

Very talented performers
"Music and singing was great. No stage changes so that was a little odd. Performers were very talented and had great voices. Plot etc was a bit weak. "

Sound was somewhat muffled
"We had seats in the mezzanine. The sound was not clear at times. What we could hear clearly was good. The band and ensemble of wives were great. "

Nice show; great music; terrible sound engineering
"The music was great. I knew that because I had heard it on Spotify before. The sound engineering was truly terrible. Overall the volume was too much for the size of the theatre but at certain times it was obnoxiously loud like the sound engineer thought we were in a stadium somewhere. Balance was terrible; we could hardly hear the singers most of the time over the music. While I am sure the singers were great, the balance made it such that my guests could not follow what was happening because they couldn't make out the words to the songs. My guests and I didn't join in the standing ovation at the end. Sad. I am sure there are scads of very talented sound engineers out there on Broadway. Please hire one of them."

Too loud
"I love the subject matter. Such a great idea. I wish they would have told more of the story. Bottom line, way, way too loud. No need for that. My Apple Watch kept going off telling me to leave!"

Modernized/Futuristic Drama
"The cast had excellent voices and harmonized well. I think the play was a bit short and didn't really like the characterization of Katherine Howard, who was portrayed purely as a seductress without acknowledgement to her being preyed upon without firm parental guidance/oversight. Also think the story might have been too modernized for my liking (i.e. costumes and musical arrangements), but that's my personal opinion as a Tudor fan/lover of history. I can see the appeal to modern day viewers unfamiliar with the story. "

It was okay
"The cast was good, singing was great, nice costumes, but the show is limited. There is little plot, character development or scenery. It was not like a traditional play rather just six women singing for a little over an hour. I enjoyed it, but would not recommend as there are better choices available on Broadway. "

Don't let this be your only show
"This short musical presentation was clever and enjoyable. It was not a Broadway show. Unfortunately, we took someone's advice and went to this show **our only Broadway night this trip**!!! Not cool. I so wish I had gone to any other show, even if it was a reprise of BOM or Hamilton. "

Great dancing but poor acoustics
"To appreciate the show you need to be familiar with the history of Henry the this wives. The acoustics made it very difficult to understand the singers. On the positive side, it was over in an hour and 20 minutes."

Great music, terrible book
"Music is definitely worthwhile, but the book just consists of the 6 wives bickering and grilling each other for an hour, and then they make up at the very end. This show functions more as a rock concert than an actual musical. "

A concert more then a Broadway show.
"The singing and dancing was great. Some of the lines were funny but I didn't feel like it was a broadway show. I felt like it was more of a concert. It was nice that they told you about each one of the wives before they sang there feelings about being married to Henry the 8th. I was disappointed. Don't get me wrong it was great for a concert but to me all of the broadway shows I have seen this to me was not a broadway show. "

Least favorite Broadway show I’ve seen
"This was way overrated IMO. Some of the songs were catchy but overall my family just didn’t get it. We’ve seen some great ones in our recent trips to nyc - wicked, lion king, Hamilton, once upon a mattress, Jersey boys, how the grinch stole Christmas, MJ the musical… but this one fell short for us. There wasn’t a storyline which is what we like about plays as opposed to this which was like a concert. To each his own, but not one I would ever watch again or recommend. "

Disappointing
"Did not enjoy the show and was so disappointed. There just wasn’t much to it..no set changes, costume changes and singing was not the best. It sounded more like American Idol sing off. Choreography was lacking and not cohesive talent. It just didn’t measure up to a Broadway show."

Not worth the money
"I liked the story but not the concept. Only one queen was a standout singer. I thought the songs were kinda lazily written and costumes just didn't hit for me. It's hard to marry pop style with broadway style. It was a missed opportunity to have a great show. It wasn't horrible but for the price of admission not worth it."

Etwas langweilig
"Nur sechs Spieler die etwas über ihre Figur als eine der Frauen von Heinrich VIII singen. Keine richtige Story dahinter. Wird in einer einzigen Kulisse gespielt. Show dauert auch nicht lange. War etwas enttäuscht."
From Tudor Queens to Pop Icons, the SIX wives of Henry VIII take the microphone to remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a Euphoric Celebration of 21st century girl power! This new original musical is the global sensation that everyone is losing their head over!
