Stranger Things is a 5-Star Showstopper
"My 10-year-old daughter and I came to NYC for Fashion Week (her first trip to the Big Apple!), and she chose Stranger Things as her first Broadway show, being a huge fan of the Stranger Things series.
If your kids are already accustomed to the violence and scary scenes from the series, they will be fine in this experience. But if not, and if they around my daughter’s age, you might wait a year or two, as the show is a little intense for youngsters.
The acting was absolutely superb, with the actors playing Henry and the young versions of Joyce and Hopper stealing the show. The set was also out of this world and very immersive for the audience.
As the play is approved by Netflix as the official prequel, the storyline stays true to the series and reveals how the childhoods of some of our favorites characters shaped who they later grew into.
Five stars across the board.
