Beware of the jump scares.
"I absolutely loved everything! I was surprised by the fact that there weren't a lot of singing like most musicals, but it was incredibly funny, serious, sad at times. My favorite part were Jim and Joyce - the actors played them so well! Their voices were actually very similar to the actors' voices in the show. The acting behind Henry's character was absolutely phenomenal. If you have watched the tv show, this gives you an amazing insight on what happened beforehand. Entertaining from beginning to end. "

"I went to the theater with my wife and my sons. I thought the play was really cool. And my younger son, who—like me—is a huge *Stranger Things* fan, thought so too. My wife and my older son found it a bit difficult to follow the story and understand what the individual scenes were actually supposed to be.
So, highly recommended for *Stranger Things* fans—but for newcomers, you might want to check out the Netflix series first, otherwise it’s all a bit weird and just incomprehensible, hysterical screaming by the lead actor."
