"I loved that as a mom that hasn’t watched the series I was able to follow along. My son and his friend are 16 years old and gave this a nine out of ten. That’s why I consider myself the coolest mom ever!"

A Theatrical Triumph in New York!
"The lighting design, sound, and scenic elements weave together an exhilarating extravaganza. Projections twist reality, illusions defy physics, and the soundscape pulses with eerie nostalgia, pulling you deeper into Hawkins' supernatural chaos. Every shadow feels alive, every roar hits like a Demogorgon ambush—pure technical magic that rivals the best of immersive theater.
Five stars. Don't miss this shadow in the city that never sleeps!"

Had to be perfect…
"Never saw a show on Broadway. Never wanted to. Being a fan of Stranger Things brought me there. What a phenomenal addition to the Stranger Things world. Now I find myself planning more trips to see a Broadway show and my wife and daughter couldn’t be more happy. This show had to be perfect to get me to come back and they nailed it…Bravo!!!"

Spectacular!!
"Stranger Things: The First Shadow on Broadway was absolutely amazing. As a prequel to the Netflix series, it deepens the story in a way that feels both fresh and faithful to the original show. The acting was fascinating-every performance felt fully committed and emotionally engaging, bringing familiar themes and characters to life in a powerful new way.
The special effects were outstanding and truly elevated the production, making the entire experience incredibly immersive. From start to finish, it felt like stepping straight into the Stranger Things universe. The venue itself was fantastic as well, adding to the overall atmosphere and excitement of the show.
I would definitely recommend this production to anyone who is a fan of Stranger Things. It's a must-see experience that perfectly blends storytelling, performance, and spectacle."

A MUST SEE!
"We were genuinely intrigued by what this show's storyline would be. There are so many facets of Stranger Things, so we were excited to see how this show would play out. It was FANTASTIC! I don't want to give any spoilers, but if you're in NYC and a ST fan, it would be a huge disservice to yourself if you don't catch this show. "

Absolutely lncredible
"The show was amazing. The acting was superb and the sets were very impressive. It was quite scary at times so I wouldn’t recommend it for young children or anyone who doesn’t like a good jump scare.
I happened to attend on the night when Jamie Campbell Bower made a surprise cameo; we in the audience were all shocked and I am still living on Cloud 9 from that experience! Though he is unlikely to be there again, I would still recommend this show to anyone who is a Stranger Things fan. I certainly recommend watching the Netflix show before attending because it does contain spoilers."
