Went in with no expectations, left speechless - you need to see it
"I cannot express enough how masterfully put together this show is. Every person curated to play the character they represented was spot on. Their manurisms mimicked the characters in the show perfectly. I almost thought the last scene was Jamie Campbell Bower. This show needs to be created into a tv series as it really helps define the tv’s shows story line. The only reason that I am not recommending it to kids is that there was some gore and jump scares. The interactions with the crowd was perfect. I am going see it again because I think I missed quite a few “Easter eggs” because there was so much going on. Our group talked all the way home (3 hours) about how well this show intertwined with the tv series. You will not be disappointed if you see this one! "

Amazing Show, Talented Cast, Great Effects
"I highly recommend watching the Stranger Things broadway show!! The special effects, dancing, music, props, sound and performance were very well thought out and structured nicely. The cast enunciate the lines clearly and I was able to follow through the plot 90% of it. It felt so surreal like the shows from Netflix. The cast were very talented, and every character is so clearly defined and entertaining. You will not fall asleep (better not!). I had a confusing time finding the theater at first but then duh it's called Marquis Theater for a reason, cause it's in the Marriott Marquis ballroom. Overall I had a fun time watching the show and it's worth watching it again. Money well spent! And please don't be on your phone during the show, it's annoying to other people!! "

An absolutely amazing show...
"My family and I love Stranger Things (all 4 seasons) on Netflix. We watch it on repeat. And so naturally we had to go see the broadway show in NY. This is the second time my family and I have seen Stranger Things: The First Shadow on Broadway. The first time we sat in Row H, and the second time we sat closer, Row G. What a great experience being able to see it up close!
Our daughter is 11 years old and our son is 19. They absolutely loved the show... the story line was so creative and really kept our attention. The actors were phenomenal... especially Louis McCartney who plays Henry Creel. His energy level was of equal value both times we saw the show. He really brings lots of emotions, which seriously stirs things up inside of you (the audience). The other actors were also very good. We particularly loved how the actors really did a great job at capturing little nuisances of their older characters in Stranger Things. It made for such a great connection between the two productions.
And lastly, but certainly not least, the special effects. OMG! If you haven't seen the show yet, prepared to be blown away by how creative, talented, and genius this production really is. You will not be disappointed. It is totally worth seeing. Hence, why we went to see it twice. And, yes, we're thinking about going again in October! "

Run Do Not Walk!
"This show is unlike anything ever before on Broadway! My mom and I went to see it. I'm a huge fan, while my mom had not even heard of the show. We both loved it! Amazing story delivered by a superb cast and crew with dazzling special effects. Every Tony won was well deserved! My only warning is that it's not for the faint of heart. Also, unless your children watch the show and do okay, it may be too much for them. Know your child's limits and gauge accordingly. We Loved and hope to see it again!"

My new favorite broadway show
"Went to New York for the first time with my 15 year old son. I have seen a lot of broadway shows over the years. I knew this had won several Tony awards this year so I figured it should be good but I had not seen the show stranger things so I did not fully know what to expect. It was truly amazing. My son loved it and it is now my new favorite broadway show. It has the best set, props, and lighting I have ever experienced. The actors/performers were all amazing!
