Truly incredible
"Wow! What a powerhouse of talent. Each cast member was so strong, the set was amazing, and the sound rocked the house. It was the first time I’ve seen a show where the entire audience leapt to their feet for a standing ovation the moment it ended. HIGHLY recommend! "

Had a great time
"I never wiped the smile off my face the whole time I sat there. It was so much fun. I am a fan of the movie but my husband never really was and he also loved it. My teen daughter wants to go again. :). This may not be a show for the very young but it should be fine for most preteen/teens. The music was great and it was equal parts humor, tenderness, and horror. Oh, and the theater seats were actually comfortable. That has been difficult to find in theater. 5 stars."

Amazing amazing AMAZING!!!!
"This show is incredible! The songs are thrilling, the actors are so dynamic, and the special effects are mind-blowing! And the staff at the theater are incredibly friendly! Whether you've seen the original movie or not, you will enjoy this show. We were in the second to last row in the uppermost balcony and could still see almost everything! We only maybe missed some things that happened on the ground in front of the stage. I will absolutely be coming back with my entire family! "

Blown away and wasn’t expecting it!
"I don’t really remember the movie but was curious to see how they made it into a musical. Totally agree with the many Tony nominations. Fantastic cast, brilliant effects, great songs and funny too! It’s not really about vampires, it’s about family, friends, growing up and just a little bit of vampires. "

Less than 48 hours in NYC
"Less that 48 hours for a girls trip, and it was all of our first time in NYC. We were determined to soak up everything we could in the weekend and seeing a Broadway show was an absolute must… and WOW, did The Lost Boys deliver?!?!
From the moment the show started, we were hooked. The acting? Incredible. The set? Next level (literally, the multi level scenes were so cool). And the lighting and special effects made everything feel almost cinematic.
We laughed, we cried, we cheered; it was an emotional night! It wasn’t just a show, it was a full-on experience and a joint highlight of our entire trip.
The show was truly amazing, and if the opportunity presents, I'd go see it over and over again! Honestly, I’d go again tomorrow. Definitely a must see! "

Amazing Show!
"My daughter and I are from the UK. She bought me tickets to see The Lost Boys for my Christmas gift as it's one of my favourite movies from the 80's.
The play was fabulous (saw it 9th April 2026). My only criticism..... wish it had the same musical score as the film.

Cut our teeth on this stellar show
"We traveled from South Carolina to New York City to see The Lost Boys Broadway preview, and it was worth every mile—honestly, we’d do it all again, even if it meant walking the whole way. This was the very first Broadway show for both my 19-year-old daughter and me, and it could not have been a better introduction. We truly “cut our teeth” on this one and now we’re completely hooked.
From the opening moments, the show pulls you in. The characters are so well developed and genuinely lovable that you find yourself rooting for all of them—yes, even the vampires. There’s a perfect balance of humor, heart, and edge that keeps you fully engaged throughout.
The costumes were absolutely spot on, enhancing not just the look of the characters but the overall tone and energy of the production. Every detail felt intentional and added to the storytelling.
One of the most impressive elements was the staging. The sheer number of stairs the actors navigate throughout the performance is incredible, yet they move with such ease and control it almost seems effortless. Their ability to sing, act, and climb nonstop without missing a beat is truly something to see.
This show didn’t just meet our expectations—it created a lasting memory and sparked a new love for theater for both of us. If this is your first Broadway show, you’re starting at a very high bar. If it’s not your first, it’s still one you won’t forget."

What this generation needs
"Yes, it’s 1987. The show not only touches elder millennials deeply in their core but also moves the current generation. The story goes beyond vampires. It’s about the human truth of belonging. Of healing your wounds. Outside of the technical mastery (you are in for a treat) the show is incredibly emotional, superbly acted, entertaining, funny and most of all, it’s got the right message for this day and age. We go to Broadway to be entertained, yes. But Lost Boys will make you feel. And feeling means giving you the chance to witness and be part of the show at the same time. You’re not longer just passively watching from the Palace rows. You’re in it. It’s thrilling. It’s the show of the decade. A must see over and over again."

Better than the movie!
"I have fond memories of “The Lost Boys” film and occasionally listen to the songs from the soundtrack. I bought the album in the 80s. I wasn’t sure how it would translate as a musical. Not only did the music exceed my expectations, but the producers deepened the story and I really appreciated that. "

The Best Show in Years
"I didn’t know what to expect. I mean, a musical about teenage vampires? But it was one of my kids’ favorite movies growing up, so I had to take my daughter when I was visiting from Florida. It was so much more than I imagined it could be! It was AMAZING!! The actors, the sets, the sound, the lighting, the score, the singing, the dancing, the FLYING- all of it, absolutely stunning! The spectacle of it was mesmerizing. I’ve recommended it to everyone I know in the NY area and also anyone I know traveling to the area. I can’t wait to see it again. And again. And again. "

"As a massive fan of the movie I was thrilled watching this exceptional adaptation. It's a perfect theatrical compliment to the cinematic awesomeness of the film. They are artistic yin and yang. That magical way music can give us insight into the characters inner lives. The way themes can be highlighted and underscored. Brilliant work from the cast and crew :) Thank you!"

Entertainment of the highest level!
"I love all kinds of theatre. There are lots of ways to entertain and move an audience, and The Lost Boys did it for me! It was so cool! But behind the expert design, staging, performances, and more, there was an emotional core that made me cry. Yes, this teen vampire musical made me openly weep! This is bold stage-craft firing on all cylinders."

The Lost Boys, A New Musical
With 12 Tony AwardⓇ nominations, including Best Musical, The Lost Boys is the most Tony-nominated musical of 2026. It’s a “thrilling, blockbuster event” (People), “a breathtaking adventure unlike any musical seen before” (New York Post), and “the best new musical of the season” (The Washington Post).
When Lucy (two-time Tony AwardⓇ nominee Shoshana Bean) and her teenage sons Michael and Sam move to Santa Carla in desperate need of a fresh start, they soon uncover the darker side of this sunny coastal community. While Lucy tries to piece her family’s life back together, Michael keeps pulling away in search of belonging. As he finds connection with a local rock band and its charismatic leader, his younger brother Sam comes face-to-face with a startling reality: When night falls, Michael’s new friends are even more dangerous than they first appeared.
Based on the classic Warner Bros. film, The Lost Boys is “an eye-popping tour de force” (Chicago Tribune) directed by two-time Tony Award winner Michael Arden (Maybe Happy Ending, Parade). The production features music and lyrics by The Rescues, a book by David Hornsby and Chris Hoch, choreography by Lauren Yalango-Grant and Christopher Cree Grant (Parade), and music supervision by Tony nominee Ethan Popp (Tina).
