Incredible Performance! Intimate and Provocative
"Small, intimate theater. 386 seats. Five actresses. Five extraordinary performances. Took us back 40 years to when we first saw Whoopi's work. So glad we found these tickets! Thank the talent, the crew, the Lincoln Center and everyone that helped make this a memorable experience for us. Don & Mary, Macungie, PA"

Whoopi never disappoints!
"The Whoopi Monologues was an unforgettable experience. The actors delivered magnificent performances, breathing vibrant life into every character on that stage. I felt every emotion, every pause, every shift in tone that Whoopi wove into her writing. The cast didn’t just perform the monologues — they embodied them. Their delivery pulled me in from the very first moment and held me all the way through. It was powerful, heartfelt, and beautifully executed."

Emotional rollercoaster
"The actors were wonderful! Favorite was the young lady with the locks, first performer. My drawback was the profanity as I do-not have a-lot of that language and try to avoid R ratings. I was happy the other characters used less of it and was able to enjoy more. It was also enjoyable to see Journey Smollet. What a wonderful actress she is and would love to see more of her and happy to see she is still working."

Gotta see this show!!
"The show is totally awesome. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. The actors individual performances were incredible. Just to think that this was originally presented as a one woman show is amazing. I highly recommend seeing the show."

Memories Clash With Reality
"The music and the people coming into the theatre created excitement and anticipation. Staging was arranged so visibility was premium for all. I was pleasantly transported to times long forgotten, yet faced with the reality of the experiences they actually portrayed. The actors were excellent! They held our attention from beginning to end. I especially appreciated how the actors engaged with the audience at large and specific persons they pick out. We were all at home engaged in conversation. LOVE THIS PERFORMANCE!!"

My view of Whoopi Monologues
"The show was funny at times. The seats were very uncomfortable. Also waiting to exactly 7:30 for security to let you in was terrible. I knew that this would delay the starting of the show on time, as lots of people waiting in line to be seated by staff was very slow. Show is not children friendly as lots of swearing during some parts of the show. I have been to several shows 2 or 3 times due to they were exceptional. I would not go back to this show again."

About
The Whoopi Monologues
In 1984, up-and-coming monologist Whoopi Goldberg premiered her one-woman show on Broadway, torching the rulebook of traditional solo performance in one of the most electrifying debuts of the era. Now, the trailblazing work returns—but for a new generation. Emmy® Award-winning producer, actor and filmmaker Kerry Washington (American Son, Scandal), and Tony® Award winner Kara Young (Purpose, Purlie Victorious) lead a remarkable ensemble of 5 women in bringing Goldberg’s unforgettable characters back to the stage, in this new production directed by Tony® Award nominee Whitney White. Funny, vivid, and deeply human, these nuanced portraits feel as fresh and irresistible today as they were over 40 years ago.
