R Family Vacations has announced a special starting rate of $399 for its upcoming cruise to Alaska. The week-long adventure will feature performances by a boatload of Broadway stars including Andrea McArdle (Annie, Beauty and the Beast), Cheyenne Jackson (All Shook Up, Xanadu), Natascia Diaz (Man of La Mancha), Mary Bond Davis (Hairspray), Tituss Burgess (The Little Mermaid, Guys and Dolls), Jimmy Smagula (The Little Mermaid) and the cast of [title of show].
Comedienne Caroline Rhea is the headliner for the cruise, which will also feature laughs from Emmy-winning funny lady Judy Gold, Julie Goldman of The Big Gay Sketch Show, Ross Matthews ("Ross the Intern" of The Tonight Show fame) and Steve Moore.
The entire original company of the Tony-nominated musical [title of show]—Susan Blackwell, Hunter Bell, Jeff Bowen, Heidi Blickenstaff and music director Larry Presgrove—will reunite on the cruise to premiere a new concert. The 2009 Alaska cruise will depart from Seattle, Washington on the Norwegian Star on July 11 and sail along Alaska's Inside Passage stopping in Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Prince Rupert. The cruise will end back in Seattle on July 18.
