Elisabeth Moss Weds SNL Star Fred Armisen

Mad Men and Speed-the-Plow star Elisabeth Moss married comedian Fred Armisen on October 25 at the Foundry event space in Long Island City. The couple embarked on a whirlwind courtship exactly a year ago after she made a cameo appearance on a Saturday Night Live episode hosted by Jon Hamm, and they announced their engagement in January. “It’s private, so I don’t want to share the details of how [Armisen proposed], but I will say it was perfect,” Moss told USA Weekend. The publicity-shy actress appeared on The View on October 23 and gave no hint that her wedding was only 48 hours away.

Moss reportedly wore a gown designed by Claire Pettibone, but no details about the guest list have been revealed. It’s the second marriage for Armisen, 42, best known for portraying President Barack Obama on SNL, and the first for Moss, 27.
