Lea Michele and Jonathan Groff Perform a Special Musical Mash-up for Charity

The reunion Spring Awakening fans have been waiting for happened on November 29, when Lea Michele and Jonathan Groff took the stage at Feinstein’s at Loews Regency headlining the third True Colors Cabaret, a benefit for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality. In the spirit of Michele’s hit Fox series Glee, the twosome performed a musical mash-up of “The Word of Your Body” from their Tony-winning hit musical and “Walking in Space” from Hair (Groff played as Claude in the revival’s original Central Park mounting). Not surprisingly, a homemade video version of their duet made it onto YouTube shortly after the performance. Take a look, and get excited about Groff’s guest stint on Glee, coming in the new year!
