Linzi Hateley will rejoin the cast of the London production of Mamma Mia! on December 14, reprising her acclaimed performance as Sophie Sheridan in the smash hit musical. She will be joined by Jessie May, who will take on her first major West End role as Donna’s daughter Sophie. Mamma Mia! has recently been extended until February 1, 2011, at the Prince of Wales Theatre. The show opened in London in 1999 has been seen by more than one in 10 people in the UK population.
The London production of Mamma Mia also features Katy Secombe as Rosie, Jane Gurnett as Tanya, Norman Bowman as Sam Carmichael, Paul Ryan as Harry Bright, Christopher Hollis as Bill Austin, Oliver Hembrough as Sky, Jodie Read as Ali, Laura Selwood as Lisa, Ben Heathcote as Pepper and Sam McKay as Eddie. At certain performances the role of Donna Sheridan will be played by Melissa Jacques.

Inspired by ABBA’s songs, the musical tells a tale of family and friendship that unfolds on a Greek island paradise.
