Race Welcomes Eddie Izzard, Dennis Haysbert and a New Summer Cast

As summer approaches, the heat is rising even higher for David Mamet’s fiery play Race, which welcomes a new cast later this month. Funnyman Eddie Izzard will show his serious side as he takes on the role of lawyer Jack Lawson, while The Unit’s Dennis Haysbert will play his stern but wisecracking law partner, Henry Brown. Race veteran Richard Thomas will continue playing Charles Strickland, a notorious public figure accused of raping a black woman, while Afton C. Williamson, who currently understudies the role of Susan, will take on the role full time! On June 8 the group took a break from their rehearsal schedule to celebrate their new little Broadway family. Take a look!
