Killer Photo Preview of Simon Russell Beale & Jonathan Groff in London Deathtrap

We’re loving all the pre-performance publicity for the London revival of Ira Levin’s Deathtrap: first, a movie-quality trailer, and now this arresting portrait by photographer Hugo Glendenning of the play's stars, Simon Russell Beale and Jonathan Groff. Actually, the photo offers a few clues to the storyline of Levin’s thriller, but mostly it’s a chance to see Jonathan in a modified wifebeater looking verrrry serious about digging a perfect grave. (From the West End to True Blood? We can only wish.) Deathtrap begins performances on August 21 at the Noel Coward Theatre, directed by Tony winner Matthew Warchus.
