Seeing Red! Take a First Look at the Charming Family Musical Freckleface Strawberry

A smart family musical is always welcome, so we’re excited about Freckleface Strawberry, the new stage adaptation of Julianne Moore’s charming children’s book. Inspired by Moore’s memories of hating her freckles as a child, the show follows the title character as she struggles to come to terms with her nickname and accept the fact that what makes you “different” also makes you you. The 70-minute-long production opens at New World Stages on October 1, with an unusual schedule of seven daytime shows to accommodate little ones.
