Raven-Symoné and Whoopi Goldberg Talk Sister Act Backstage at The View

What better place for Raven-Symoné to make the big announcement that she'll join the Broadway cast of Sister Act than on The View! Before the actress began her gig guest hosting the morning show on March 7, she chatted up View co-host and original Sister Act film star, Whoopi Goldberg. Goldberg created the role of disco diva Deloris Van Cartier in the Sister Act film and Raven-Symoné will soon make her Broadway debut in the fabulous part, so the pair had a lot to talk about. Raven shared her excitement to be going into “a show that makes me laugh out loud,” then she and Whoopi (who also serves as a Sister Act producer) swapped stories about their favorite numbers from show.
