The dizzying and dazzling 1960s political world, where journalists were kings, is brought to life as the world premiere of The Columnist readies to make headlines on the Great White Way. Two-time Tony winner John Lithgow, who stars as the beloved and feared Joseph Alsop, was joined by four-time Tony Award winner Boyd Gaines, Margaret Colin, Tony nominee Stephen Kunken, Grace Gummer, director Daniel Sullivan, Pulitzer prize-winning scribe David Auburn and MTC Artistic Director Lynne Meadow to meet the press at the Manhattan Theatre Club Rehearsal Studios on March 13.
