Atlantic Theater Company is reviving the forgotten sport of roller derby eight times a week in the new off-Broadway show The Jammer. Written by Rolin Jones (Weeds, Friday Night Lights) and directed by Jason Gay, this original comedy follows Jack Lovington (Patch Darragh) as he leaves his fiancée behind in Brooklyn to join up with the professional New York roller derby team. The show is set in the 1950s and features a crazy cast of characters played by Christopher Jackson, Jeanine Serralles, Keira Naughton and more.
