'Hello,' Baby! Mormon Alum Jared Gertner & Hubby Jeffrey Marshek Have a Newborn on the Way

It's (going to be) a boy! Broadway alum Jared Gertner has confirmed to Broadway.com that he and hubby Jeffrey Marshek are expecting their first child. The newborn boy is due on February 1, 2015 via a surrogate.

Gertner was a member of the original Broadway cast of The Book of Mormon as the standby for Elder Cunningham before taking over full time in New York, on tour and in the West End (where he was nominated for an Olivier Award). He made his Broadway debut in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and also appeared off-Broadway in the musical Ordinary Days.

Gertner and Marshek married on November 14, 2010.
