Into the Woods' Anna Kendrick had a few issues with Constellations' Jake Gyllenhaal after he dropped out of playing one of the princes in the movie musical to do Nightcrawler. “I was so pissed at Jake, let me tell you,” Kendrick joked to the Daily Beast. “I texted him and said, ‘You’re abandoning me, and I’m never going to forgive you!’” All’s well that ends well, though. The actress went on to say that she found his Nightcrawler performance inspirational and that his replacement, Billy Magnussen, “is really fantastic” in the film.
James Franco & Zachary Quinto's Threesome
Broadway alums James Franco and Zachary Quinto, along with former Teen Wolf star Charlie Carver, have apparently shot a sex scene—together—for upcoming movie Michael. According to E! online, the threesome is “very hot.” We can imagine.

Stage and screen star (and birthday girl) Allison Janney recently stopped by On the Town and ended up being serenaded by the cast during the show. Every night a military vet or an audience member is singled out for the honor and according to the New York Post, the company sang her “Happy Birthday." Sounds like a helluva celebration to us!
Sing 'Auld Lang Syne' With Norm Lewis
Speaking of celebrations, you can ring in the New Year with Norm Lewis. Broadway’s current Phantom will be starring in the New York Philharmonic’s New Year’s Eve Gershwin Celebration. Lewis will appear alongside jazz great Dianne Reeves, conductor Bramwell Tovey and host Willie Geist. The concert will be broadcast on December 31, 2014 at 8PM ET on PBS.
