Everything's coming up Roses! Gypsy turned 57 on May 21, and we asked you to choose your favorite powerhouse ladies who have taken on the role of Mama Rose. Ethel Merman originated the character at the Broadway Theatre in 1959, and Angela Lansbury, Tyne Daly and Patti LuPone have taken home Tonys for playing the brassy stage mother in three of the musical's five Great White Way revivals.
