Tonight, the prominent and passionate Billy Porter debuts his spiritual revelation, Ghetto Superstar: The Man That I Am, presented by the Public Theatre. This musical solo show, written and performed by Porter, guides us through his trials and tribulations as a young, black, gay artist through original song. Porter is an artist in residence at the Public Theatre and put this show together to promote the power and positive influence musical theater can have on people.

NEW LOOK AT JUDAS
What lies between heaven and hell? Purgatory, and of course the story of most unexplained and mysterious sinner of The New Testament, Judas Iscariot. The LABryrinth Theatre company and the Public Theatre presents Stephen Adly Guigis' The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, a comedy-drama about the trial between Judas Iscariot vs. God and the Kingdom of Heaven and Earth taking place in the imaginary place between Heaven and Hell. Starring in this world premier is Sam Rockwell and Eric Bogosian and featuring John Ortiz, Liza Colon-Zayas, Craig “mums” Grant, among others playing prominent historic figures like Pontius Pilate, Sigmond Freud, and the Devil himself. This one of a kind production in purgatory, directed by Seymour Hoffman debuts tonight.

DIRTY ROTTEN OPENING
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels officially opens tonight and is a sure to be Broadway hit with a star-studded cast of our favorites, including Tony award winner John Lithgow, Norbert Leo Butz (Wicked), Sherie Rene Scott and, making their awaited returns to Broadway, Tony winner Joanna Gleason and Gregory Jbara. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is based on the original movie starring Michael Cane and Steve Martin in 1988, and follows the back and forth comedic battle between two con-men, trying to run each other out of town. With the book by Jeffrey Hatcher and score by David Yazbek (The Full Monty), it's no wonder we're in awe of the cast and company of this show!

HURLYBURLY CLOSES...FOR NOW
David Rabe's revival of Hurlyburly, presented by The New Group theatre company, starring Ethan Hawke, Parker Posey and Wallace Shawn is ending its run at the quaint 199-seat Acorn Theatre to prepare for it's move to the larger 399-seat 37 Arts theatre located at 450 West 37th Street. First performance in the new venue is scheduled for April 11. ![]()
