Boy Meets Boy Star Ready for Off-B'way Wedding
Although he started as an actor, Getzlaff was working at a law firm when he was chosen to be the bachelor at the center of the Bravo reality show Boy Meets Boy. The series followed male suitors all vying for Getzlaff's attention, with each one facing possible elimination at the end of every episode. The twist was that some of the suitors were straight, a fact Getzlaff did not know during filming. The one he eventually selected, Wes, was in fact gay.
My Big Gay Italian Wedding centers on Andrew Polinski Getzlaff and Anthony Pinnunziato Anthony Wilkinson, Brooklynites who are planning to get married. Anthony insists on a big traditional Italian wedding, but there are a few problems. Anthony's family won't give their blessing unless he can fulfill two requirements: The ceremony is to be performed by a priest, and Andrew's estranged mother in Florida must give her blessing. To further complicate matters, Andrew's ex-boyfriend is intent on breaking the couple up by revealing a past indiscretion.
