Atlantic Theater Company is pulling a David Mamet switch. Instead of the previously announced production of Mamet's Dr. Faustus, the company will now present a world premiere of the playwright's latest, Romance, next season, according to The New York Times.
There are very few details about the plot of Romance, which will open in February. Reportedly it will take place in a courtroom and have seven male characters.
Atlantic Artistic Director Neil Pepe is set to helm Romance.
