This season it seemed like a lot of shows opened and closed quickly, leaving many Broadway houses empty. But that did not stop the Great White Way from upping its gross and attendance figures as compared to last season. The 2003-2004 season which had one extra week because every seventh Broadway season does made $770,990,969, which is an increase of $50,073,097 over the previous season. Attendance was also up 182,801.
