Debra Monk Set for Broadway's Reckless

Debra Monk, who appeared in the film version of Craig Lucas' Reckless with Mary-Louise Parker, will join her for the MTC/Second Stage mounting of the play at the Biltmore Theatre in the fall.
Monk won a Tony Award for her work in Redwood Curtain and Tony nominations for performances in Picnic and Steel Pier. She also appeared on Broadway in Lucas' Prelude to a Kiss with Parker, Nick & Nora, Company, Ah, Wildernes! and Thou Shalt Not. In recent years she has been featured on the small screen in the series Kristin starring her Steel Pier co-star Kristin Chenoweth, the television movie of The Music Man and both Eloise ABC movies. In Reckless, Monk will appear as a series of doctors.

Craig Lucas' Reckless, directed by Mark Brokaw, is scheduled to begin Broadway previews on September 22 in preparation for an October 14 opening.
