Broadway Bares 14 Earns $525,000 for BC/EFA

Broadway Bares has topped itself again. This year's strip show, entitled Broadway Bares 14: Now Showing, made $525,000, approximately $75,000 more than last year.
Broadway Bares 14 took place on June 20 at Roseland Ballroom and featured over 200 performers strutting their stuff. The evening found the cast offering a sexy spin to classic scenes inspired by movies including Rocky, Flashdance, Singin' in the Rain and the James Bond series.

Chicago's Christopher Sieber opened the show with the song "Coming Attraction," a special creation by Andrew Lippa that played homage to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.. Queer Eye For the Straight Guy and Rent star Jai Rodriguez performed the finale: "Fame." Patrick Cassidy, Shirley Jones and Swoosie Kurtz guest-starred at the 9:30pm show. Trading Spaces and Chicago star Paige Davis provided entertainment at the midnight show.
For this Broadway Bares, conceiver Jerry Mitchell who has directed every Bares until this year served as the executive producer. His longtime associate Jodi Moccia directed and choreographed the shows. For a glimpse of the evening, check out our Photo Op from the event.
