Casting Complete for MTC's Five by Tenn
Rasche was featured in the MTC production of Last Dance. On Broadway he appeared in The Shadow Box, Loose Ends, Lunch Hour, Getting and Spending and Speed-the-Plow. In addition to Last Dance, his off-Broadway credits include Geniuses, No One Will Be Immune and Edmund.
Sella has appeared on Broadway in Side Man for which he received a Clarence Derwent Award and Drama League citation, Cabaret and My Fair Lady. His off-Broadway credits include Kit Marlowe, Home of the Brave and The Water Children. Sella also starred as Prior in the national tour of Angels in America.
Five By Tenn is an evening of Tennessee Williams one-acts. Five one-acts were featured when the piece ran at the Kennedy Center as part of the theater's Tennessee Williams Explored festival. When MTC originally announced the project it was called Four By Tenn with the company planning on presenting one less one-act during the show. It is now back to Five By Tenn as the world premiere of The Fat Man's Wife was added to the lineup. Five By Tenn will now be composed of The Fat Man's Wife starring Rasche, Chalfant and Sella, Adam and Eve on a Ferry starring Rasche, Chalfant and Fuller, I Can't Imagine Tomorrow starring Chalfant and Rasche, And Tell Sad Stories of the Deaths of Queens starring Watford, Folmar, Gilmore and Sella and Summer at the Lake starring Chalfant, Fuller and Folmar.
Five By Tenn, directed by Michael Kahn, is scheduled to run at MTC's Stage II from October 19 through December 19. It officially opens on November 11.
