Creel, who received a 2004 Tony nomination for playing Jimmy Smith in Thoroughly Modern Millie, is set to return to Broadway this fall in La Cage aux Folles. He has appeared in several off-Broadway shows including Bat Boy, The Mystery Plays and the Encores! mounting of Hair. Last year, he was seen in the Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman musical Bounce at the Goodman Theatre and at the Kennedy Center.
Reeve is currently appearing in Brooklyn Boy at the South Cost Repertory Theater and will return to Broadway in the play this winter. The actress, who is now known for being active in The Christopher and Dana Reeve Paralysis Resource Center which she founded with her husband, Christopher Reeve, previously appeared on Broadway in More to Love and off-Broadway in Portraits.
While Feinstein's at the Regency often hosts established Broadway performers for cabaret engagements, the Broadway's Brightest Lights series marks the first time the venue has offered an opportunity for up-and-coming theater to perform in their own shows.
