The 2004-2005 season has two new musicals on the boards and neither is doing great business at the box office. Dracula, which received less than stellar reviews, made $319,959 last week and filled the Belasco Theatre to 65.54%. Brooklyn, currently in previews at the Plymouth Theatre, made $268,959 in seven performances. That is a big difference from the past two seasons, which each had a summer hit--Hairspray in 2002 and Avenue Q in 2003.
