Marc Salem's Mind Games on Broadway, which began playing Monday nights at the Lyceum Theatre on May 17, will begin its expanded performance schedule three weeks later than previously announced because of scheduling conflicts. The show will now begin performing on Tuesdays, in addition to Mondays, on November 30.
In Mind Games on Broadway, Salem tells total strangers who they are, where they're from, what they do for a living, what they're carrying in their pockets and where they've been on vacation. He performs a series of mesmerizing and mystifying games that allows him to read the minds of audience members.
Mind Games had been playing Monday nights while I Am My Own Wife was dark. Although the show is currently only playing one night a week, it has not been doing well at the box office. For the week ending October 31, the show made $7,484 and filled the theater to 24.86% capacity on average.
I Am My Own Wife closed on October 31 at the Lyceum Theatre. Whoopi begins performances at there on November 6. Whoopi is only running for seven performances a week--with Monday and Tuesday as dark nights, which leaves the theater free for Mind Games on those evenings.
