Lage previously appeared on Broadway in Our Town, The Old Neighborhood and Gore Vidal's The Best Man. He is a founding member of the Atlantic Theater Company, where his credits include Sea of Tranquility, The Water Engine, The Hothouse, Mojo, The Woods, Edmond, Dangerous Corner, The Blue Hour, Distant Fires and the Mamet adaptation of Three Sisters. His other off-Broadway credits include Boys' Life, The Lights and Night and Her Stars. Lage previously appeared in a production of Glengarry Glen Ross at the McCarter Theatre.
Glengarry Glen Ross centers on a competitive group of real estate salesmen who've gotten more than a little desperate during the reign of Reaganomics. The play won the 1984 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, had a successful run at Broadway's Golden Theatre from March 16, 1984 through February 17, 1985. It was made into an acclaimed 1992 film.
Glengarry Glen Ross, directed by Joe Mantello, is scheduled to begin performances at the Royale Theatre on April 8 in preparation for a May 1 opening.
