Grant Shaud Joins the Cast of After Ashley at the Vineyard

Grant Shaud will join Kieran Culkin, Anna Paquin, Tim Hopper, Dana Eskelson and Mark Rosenthal in the Vineyard Theatre production of After Ashley.

Shaud last appeared off-Broadway in Roulette also with Paquin, which he left during previews because of illness. His other theatrical credits include Torch Song Trilogy and off-Broadway mountings of Four Dogs and a Bone, Pilgrims, Today I am a Fountain Pen, Brown, Reunions, Cut-Throat, Dipthong, A Ripe Banana and Writer's Block. Shaud spent eight years on Murphy Brown and additionally appeared as a series regular on Madigan Men and Oliver Beene.

After Ashley, which was a critical hit at the Humana Festival of New American Plays in Louisville, is a black comedy about the media's exploitation of one family's tragedy.

The Vineyard production, directed by Terry Kinney, is scheduled to begin off-Broadway performances February 9 in preparation for a February 28 opening.
