Barrett Foa Moves into a Starring Role in Avenue Q

Understudy Barrett Foa is set to take over for Tony-nominated actor John Tartaglia in Avenue Q. He will begin performances as Princeton and Rod on February 1.
Foa currently serves in the Avenue Q ensemble and as the understudy for Princeton, Rod, Nicky, Trekkie and the Bad Idea Bears. He appeared in the original cast of Mamma Mia! on Broadway and played Jesus in the 2000 off-Broadway revival of Godspell. His other credits include Much Ado About Nothing at Hartford Stage and the Shakespeare Theatre and Camelot at Paper Mill Playhouse.
Avenue Q will continue to star original cast members Stephanie D'Abruzzo, Rick Lyon, Jordan Gelber, Ann Harada, Natalie Venetia Belcon and Jennifer Barnhart.
