"I'm excited," Reuben told Broadway.com. "It's wonderful. People play 'Hail to the chief.' Clinton called to congratulate me and he said: 'Aubrey-I have some advice for you. The first thing you need to do is hire a good intern.' Then Monica called and she is coming in for an interview tomorrow. She says she is available."
A former Tony nominator, Reuben is a photographer and a writer. He was the critic for Temas, the Spanish-language magazine until it folded last year. As a photographer, he has a regular gig with The New York Post, The Hampton Sheet and Black Tie International.
The Outer Critics Circle is an organization of writers that cover New York theater for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway. They give out the first major awards of the Broadway season. This year, the nominations for the Outer Critics Circle Awards will be announced on April 18, and the winners revealed on May 2.
