DeMunn, who starred in A Picasso at Philadelphia's Plays & Players Theater two years ago, is currently appearing off-Broadway in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. He earned a Tony nomination for his starring role in the 1983 play K2. DeMunn has also appeared on the Great White Way in Comedians, Bent, Sleight of Hand, Spoils of War, Hedda Gabler, The Price and Our Town. His off-Broadway credits include The Country Girl, One Shoe Off and Gun-Shy.
Lisa Banes played Miss Fischer opposite DeMunn in Philadelphia. Lucie Arnaz took on the role at the Coconut Grove Playhouse last year. A female star for the MTC production has yet to be announced.
