Due to the extension of William Finn and Rachel Sheinkin's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Second Stage Theatre has pushed back the start date of its next production, Paul Weitz's Privilege. The play, which was originally slated for March 29 previews, is now scheduled to begin performances on April 5.
Commissioned by Second Stage Theatre, Privilege centers on the privileged lives of two Upper East Side teens who are irrevocably changed when their father is accused of insider trading.
The production, directed by Peter Askin, is now expected to have its official off-Broadway bow on April 25.
