LaBute's This Is How It Goes to Start a Day Late at Public

The Public Theater premiere of Neil LaBute's This Is How It Goes will begin performances a day later than previously scheduled. Previews of the show are now scheduled to start on March 11.

This Is How It Goes, which has been a huge hit at the box office for the Public, had a cast change late in rehearsals. Amanda Peet stepped in for Marisa Tomei, who withdrew from the production for “personal family reasons.” Ben Stiller and Jeffrey Wright continue to star.

Set in small-town America, This Is How It Goes centers on an interracial love triangle between two men, one white and one black and a white woman.

The play, directed by George C. Wolfe, is still scheduled to officially open off-Broadway on March 27.
