"This particular play hasn't been done in New York in a long time," Christian Campbell told Broadway.com. "I think it is relevant. I think it is interesting. And a lot of people know it--everyone who has ever gone to acting school has done a scene from Loose Ends!"
Neve Campbell trained as a ballerina from a young age and acted onstage in her native Canada before hitting it big on American television. She played the Degas Girl in The Phantom of the Opera at Toronto's Pantages Theater and also appeared in theatrical mountings of The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty. But it was on the small screen, where Campbell really made a name for herself. She rose to fame playing Julia Salinger on the hit TV series Party of Five, which ran from 1994 to 2000. She then made the leap to the big screen with roles in The Craft, the Scream movies, 54, Wild Things and The Company. Campbell was expected to make her Broadway debut last fall in Allan Knee's Syncopation, but the production was canceled. She will soon be seen in the Showtime adaptation of the musical Reefer Madness, in which she appears with her brother.
"Neve wants to be onstage," Christian Campbell, who ran an L.A. Theater Company and previously produced a stage play off-off-Broadway, said. "She really wanted to do something, so I found this for her."
