This Is How It Goes is a fierce drama of manipulation, exploitation, infidelity, and passion. Peet and Wright play a married couple whose lives are interrupted by an old acquaintance Stiller, who may or may not be what he seems.
The drama, directed by George C. Wolfe, opened on March 27 to mixed reviews. In his Broadway.com Review of the play, Eric Grode wrote: "The well-crafted but limited nihilism of [LaBute's] earlier works has given way to a more nuanced, deeply considered grasp of why people hurt one another and themselves."
