Burrows began her career as a model but transitioned to acting in the early 1990s. Her first big role was in the 1995 film Circle of Friends, in which she played the beautiful Nan, who gets in over her head with a beau. Her subsequent film credits include Lovelife, One Night Stand, Deep Blue Sea, Timecode, Enigma, Frida and Troy.
Manville is best known for her big screen collaborations with Mike Leigh. She has worked with the writer/director on the films High Hopes, Secrets & Lies, Topsy-Turvy, All or Nothing and Vera Drake. Her other credits include the recent BBC miniseries North & South.
Tate is a comedic actress best known for her sketchy comedy show The Catherine Tate Show. Prior to that she wrote and starred the television series Big Train and Attention Scum.
Some Girls centers on a womanizer Schwimmer who decides to visits some ex-girlfriends Burrows, Manville, Powell and Tate before he becomes engaged to his current love.
Some Girls, directed by David Grindley, is scheduled to officially open May 24.
