Lypsinka to Play the Zipper with Passion of the Crawford

The Passion of the Crawford, starring John Epperson as Lypsinka as Joan Crawford, which will play a six-performance limited engagement at The Zipper May 5 through May 14.

Utilizing the actress' own words, The Passion of the Crawford gives audiences an evening with the legendary Miss Crawford, recreating performances of two of her favorite works of literatureDesiderata the classic poetic declaration of what is essential to one's life and how to live peacefully and a 'dramatic interpretation' of a text about the importance of caring for our children, written especially for her. The Passion of the Crawford also features a live interview in which Miss Crawford shares with her fans the exciting details of her career, her life and her loves.

The Passion of the Crawford, directed by Kevin Malony, also will include a special performance by The Amazing Russello, one of Miss Crawford's favorite entertainers.
