Felciano is currently appearing off-Broadway in Shockheaded Peter. He has been on the Great White Way in Brooklyn, Jesus Christ Superstar and Cabaret. His other credits include national tours of Whistle Down the Wind and Saturday Night Fever and a Public Theater production of Much Ado About Nothing.
Gemignani, son of frequent Sondheim musical director Paul Gemignani, played John Hinckley in last season's Tony-winning production of Sondheim's Assassins, for which he won a Theatre World Award. He recently appeared in Avenue Q as Brian, subbing for a vacationing Jordan Gelber. He had previously played the role off-Broadway. His other theatrical credits include The Trapped Family Singers at the 2003 New York Fringe Festival, Sorry, Wrong Number off-Broadway and the world premiere of the musical Marty at Boston's Huntington Theatre.
Champlin is best known for playing the older Helen, a character based on Carol Burnett, in Hollywood Arms. She has also appeared on Broadway in James Joyce's The Dead and By Jeeves. Her off-Broadway credits include Reunion, Stars in Your Eyes, the Encores! mounting of Bloomer Girl, My Life With Albertine, First Lady Suite and, recently, The Audience. She is currently in rehearsals for The Flight of the Lawnchair Man, which begins performances at Goodspeed Musicals' Norma Terris Theatre on May 19.
Sweeney Todd, directed and designed by John Doyle, is scheduled to begin previews on October 3 and open November 3 at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre.
