Diana Rigg to Return to the West End in Joanna Murray-Smith's Honour

Diana Rigg will return to the West End in Joanna Murray-Smith's Honour. The play, directed by David Grindley, will begin performances on February 7 at the Wyndham's Theatre and officially open its limited run there on February 14.

Honour is a wrenchingly honest dissection of a marriage. Rigg will play the central role of Honor, who is stunned when her husband of 32 years leaves her for a younger woman. Martin Jarvis, Natascha McElhone and Georgia Rich also star.

Australian playwright Murray-Smith made her Broadway debut with Honour in 1998. The drama recently played at London's National Theatre in 2003 with a cast that included Eileen Atkins, who won an Evening Standard Award for her performance.

The Wyndham's current tenant, Tom Stoppard's adaptation of the French drama Heroes, will end its limited engagement on January 14.
